Here are some general things I like tell models before we shoot to
ensure that our photographs are the best they could possibly be.
This is what you will need to bring
Makeup- I
suggest that models hire a makeup artist for their photo shoots
because it lets the model have one less thing to worry about. If you
plan on coming with your makeup already applied, still bring
foundation, powder, mascara, and lip gloss.
Clothing
anything you want to bring, and I have a pretty wide selection of
stuff with three full racks of outfits, but keep in mind I shoot
mostly glamour so the outfits are swimwear, lingerie, and costumes. I would suggest that you
bring 3 outfits of each type of photography you are shooting with me
(3 swimsuits, 3 casual, and so on).
Shoes 4-5
pairs of high heels, boots, and cool looking shoes.
Stockings
thigh high solid black stockings, and some thigh high fishnets.
Jewelry Hoop
earnings, necklaces, bracelets, rings.
Please remember that underwear and bras leave lines on your skin,
and sometimes these are impossible to remove in photoshop. If you
are going to be shooting swimwear or lingerie with me I would
prefer that you do not wear them to the shoot, but bring them for
when you leave. Wear pajama pants and a loose t-shirt with flip
flops when you arrive, and nothing like bracelets or socks that will
leave marks or your skin.
You will need to
come with your hair already styled to the shoot. I can manage minor
touch ups while we shoot, but remember time is money and I run a
tight schedule.
Your hair color should be at least one and a half weeks old or
fresher. Please do not show up with 5 inch roots because it will
definitely show up in your photographs. Don't try to change your
hair color right before the shoot either in case something goes
wrong.
Your nail polish
needs to be a nude or clear on your hands and feet. Colored polishes
wont match everything we shoot in and if you chip the darker
colored polishes it is very noticeable in the photos.
Bring your drivers license. You will not get a
copy of your images until you sign a model release
and hand me a copy of your DL. I will always give the model a set of proofs at the end of each shoot.
If you do not already have a tan DO NOT
GET A SPRAY ON TAN before our shoot. It usually looks fake and it
rubs off on wardrobe very easily. If you use any of Gia's wardrobe
and your tan smears off on it you will be financially responsible
for replacing that item at a cost of $75 per item.
